Sowing activities in Ukraine have resumed following weather-related setbacks, with over 2.32 million hectares of grain and leguminous crops sown by early May, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy. Last week, 952.4 thousand hectares were added, led by Kirovohrad Oblast. Agricultural activities include sowing sugar beets, sunflower, and soybeans across various regions. The Ministry, along with the World Bank and IFC, has initiated lending programs to support farmers. Additionally, the USAID Program for Agrarian and Rural Development is soliciting bids for sunflower seeds and fertilizers, and farmers can obtain free seeds of main agricultural crops through the State Agrarian Register.
