Feed corn prices in Ukraine continued to rise last week due to reduced grain supply in the market and active demand from buyers.
This is reported by APK-Inform.
Most processors continued to record maximum and near-maximum demand prices, and were willing to offer premiums for larger lots. Traders, on the other hand, showed no interest in purchasing last year's crop, instead signing contracts for the new crop. Only a few exporters, who urgently needed to attract additional grain volumes, were willing to set prices above market levels.
Demand prices for feed corn were most often recorded within the range of 9900-11000 UAH/t CPT, and in the southern region reached 11300 UAH/t CPT.
