In Ukraine, lard continues to rise in price, and the upward trend has been sustained for over a year. According to the State Statistics Service, in November, the average consumer price of the product was 214.12 UAH per kilogram, which is 3.5% more than in October, when the figure was 206.81 UAH, writes "ProAgro Group". In annual terms, the increase is even more noticeable—plus 29% compared to November 2024, when a kilogram of lard cost 165.85 UAH. The State Statistics Service clarifies that the data provided do not take into account the temporarily occupied territories and regions where hostilities are ongoing. The rise in prices has been recorded every month since July 2024, when the average cost of the product was around 160 UAH.
