In Ukraine, chicken eggs have significantly increased in price – according to official data, over the year from October 2024 to October 2025, their cost increased by 41.9%. This is reported by OBOZ.UA. However, on a monthly basis, according to the State Statistics Service, the price increase was not as severe. The price growth amounted to 11%. Since the beginning of November, the price of unpackaged eggs (category C1) increased by 0.03 UAH/piece (0.3 UAH/dozen). At the end of the month, large supermarket chains were selling them on average at 6.33 UAH/piece (63.33 UAH/dozen). The cost of packaged eggs has also increased. Specifically, a dozen of "Yasensvit" brand eggs are sold on average at 80 UAH, which is more than 7 UAH higher than the average price in October. Eggs of the "Kvochka" brand cost an average of 80.6 UAH/dozen. This is almost 7.5 UAH higher than the October price.
