In Ukraine, retail prices for pork decreased

In Ukraine, there is a slight decrease in the retail prices of chilled pork semi-finished products on the shelves of national retail chains. This is reported by analysts of the "Swine Farmers of Ukraine" Association. It is noted that during November the prices of chilled pork at the meat counters of supermarkets were slightly lower than a month earlier. So, if in October the average price of a kilogram of pork fluctuated between UAH 207.5-209/kg, then in November the decrease in this range was recorded to UAH 203.5-207.5/kg. So, according to the results of the last month of autumn, consumers paid 1.1% or 2.2 hryvnias/kg less than the previous month - 205.7 hryvnias/kg. At the same time, pork purchase prices for the corresponding period were slightly higher than in October: a kilogram of slaughtered pork cost an average of UAH 61.2/kg, which is 5.9% higher than in October.
