In Ukraine, entrepreneurs had the opportunity to join electronic auctions for the right to use the water area of the Dry Estuary to grow shrimp and shellfish. This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. The relevant order of the Cabinet of Ministers "On conducting an auction for the sale of the right to enter into a lease agreement for the water area (water space) of Sukhoi Liman for the purposes of marine aquaculture" No. 60 has already been approved. In Minagro, it was emphasized that for the first time, entrepreneurs received the right to lease plots of dry estuary in Odesa region for mariculture. The area of the Dry Estuary reservoir has sufficient salinity and free exchange of water with the sea to grow shrimp and mussels there. The lease agreement is planned to be concluded for seven years.
