In Ukraine, 6.93 million hectares of grains and legumes have been harvested, yielding 28.77 million tons with an average productivity of 4.15 tons per hectare. The productivity leaders are wheat at 4.40 tons per hectare, barley at 3.93 tons per hectare, and peas at 2.30 tons per hectare. The harvesting of corn, buckwheat, and millet has begun. Technical crops: rapeseed at 2.55 tons per hectare, sunflower at 1.35 tons per hectare, soybean at 1.59 tons per hectare, and sugar beet over 40 tons per hectare. Regional leaders include Volyn, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, and Sumy regions.
