At the end of last week, prices in Ukraine for greenhouse cucumbers reached 20-40 UAH/kg. This is on average 16% lower than at the beginning of the month, according to analysts at EastFruit. The price decrease was facilitated by a significant increase in the supply of these vegetables on the market. At the same time, demand remained at a fairly low level. As noted, the increased supply is explained by favorable weather conditions that have established themselves almost throughout the entire territory of Ukraine. Due to the weather, the supply of second-crop cucumbers, i.e., those sown in the summer, is growing every day. Compared to September of last year, greenhouse vegetables in Ukraine have already become cheaper by an average of 27%.
