Turkey is the world's leader in seedless raisin production and exports, experiencing an 11% increase in the 2023/24 season, generating $490 million from exports. Despite this increase, there was a 20% decrease in quantity exported, totaling 207 thousand tons, due to reduced yield caused by climate change. The majority of these exports, 78%, were to European countries, with England, the Netherlands, and Germany being the leading importers. Turkey aims to surpass $500 million in seedless raisin exports in the 2024/25 season.
