A recent survey by the State Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Seapa) has shown that the prices of vegetables sold at the CeasaMinas warehouse in Contagem have varied. While garlic and onions maintained stable prices, carrots and chayote squash saw significant price fluctuations. The fluctuations in vegetable prices were attributed to factors such as supply and productivity. Carrots became more expensive due to a decrease in supply and productivity, while potatoes and tomatoes became cheaper due to excess supply.
