India aims to boost its global whiskey sales by 22% by 2027, according to a report by Bonafide Research cited by Business Standard. The report predicts that global consumption of Indian whiskey will reach 289.49 million cases by 2027-2028, generating over $34 billion for Indian companies. The growth in production is attributed to the increasing popularity of Indian whiskey brands, with 13 Indian brands making it into the top 25 best-selling whiskey brands worldwide.
