The Indian Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare has finalized phytosanitary requirements for Polish blueberries, marking the end of negotiations that started in March 2022. This development allows registered Polish plantations and packing plants to export blueberries to India. In 2023, Polish agri-food exports to India amounted to EUR 38.72 million, with apples being the top product. The recent visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Poland underscored the formation of a strategic partnership between the two nations.
