REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The bilateral meeting between Indonesia and France has become an important momentum in strengthening strategic partnerships in various fields, including enhancing food security. The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, Andi Amran Sulaiman, signed a Declaration of Intent (DoI) in agriculture with the French Government as the initial foundation of cooperation. The signing was conducted together with the Minister of Economy, Finance, and Digital and Industrial Sovereignty, Eric Lombard. The document was part of a series of strategic agreements directly witnessed by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and French President Emmanuel Macron during an official meeting at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Wednesday (5/28/2025).
