Market potential of Indonesian palm oil in Africa

Angola, located in western Africa, is emerging as a promising market for Indonesian palm oil on the African continent. Several regions of Angola are ready to be developed for palm oil cultivation. This potential was highlighted during the recent visit of the Indonesian Ambassador to Namibia accredited to Angola, Vishnu Edy Pratiño, on Thursday, July 25, 2024. Ambassador Vishnu met with Ambassador Carlos Sardinha, Director of International Cooperation at the Angolan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to explore the potential for exports and cooperation in the palm oil sector.
