Significant imports of apple concentrate from Ukraine to Poland have been observed, helping to stabilize the market after a period of suspended production and price increases. The dynamic market has seen high demand and challenges from overestimated yields. The imports aim to address the current shortages and help stabilize the rising prices of industrial apples. Despite the history of importing apple concentrate, the practice remains controversial due to its impact on the demand and prices of the raw material. From January to October of this year, Poland imported 2,875 tons of the concentrate from Ukraine, with the import figures showing a decrease in recent years, although the total imports remain at a similar level as in previous years.
