Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly chaired a meeting to follow up on the progress of the National Project for the Rehabilitation of Canals, Rehabilitation of Watersheds and the Transformation of Modern Irrigation Systems. The meeting included discussions on a World Bank report about the impact of climate change on various sectors in Egypt, and the future vision of the Ministry of Agriculture to combat climate change. The Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Aty, also received ministers and representatives from the World Bank to discuss the effects of climate change on agriculture and the bank's programs in the middle east and north Africa. The article also reports on the opening of the International Agricultural Exhibition, increases in Egyptian agricultural exports, and the implementation of awareness seminars and training courses in the agricultural sector. Additionally, the seizure of over 150 tons of raw materials and unlicensed feed mixtures in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate has been referred to the Public Prosecution Office for legal action.
