Brazil's livestock farming industry is focusing on increasing production efficiency to meet the anticipated doubling of demand for animal food by 2050, which is expected to account for 70% of this growth. This increase in efficiency is achieved through advances in genetics, nutrition, health, and management practices, including the adoption of precision livestock farming. The agtech company Instabov is playing a significant role in this transformation by offering a geolocation and monitoring system for herds, which helps farmers make informed decisions by providing data on the herd's productive, behavioral, and physiological indicators. The system uses collars worn by animals and antennas to capture data, with plans to expand operations to neighboring countries by 2026.
