Over the course of two years, the interprofessional associations for Spanish beef cattle, Spanish sheep and goats, and Hungary have promoted the commitment of farmers to European animal welfare through a campaign. The campaign aimed to highlight the importance of accreditation schemes such as the B+ Animal Welfare Commitment seal and showcased the efforts of farmers in sheep, goat, and beef production. Through meetings, communication actions, and symposiums, the campaign achieved a significant media impact and reached a wide audience, with over 340,000 website visits and 263 million impacts.
