Core Insight: Recently released statistics from the Iranian Pistachio Association (IPA) show that the 2024/25 production season for Iranian pistachios has concluded, with total exports reaching 202,000 tons (in shell weight), a 50% increase compared to the previous season. The final exports were 82% of the initial inventory, indicating a remarkable season for the Iranian pistachio industry. The price competitiveness of Iranian pistachios, limited supply from other regions, and the rapid increase in global food industry consumption of Iranian pistachio kernels together contributed to this impressive performance.
