During the last month, Argentina exported 5,000 tons of meat to Israel. Approximately 2,400 tons of chilled meat and 2,600 tons of frozen meat. According to the report, the meat destined for the Israeli market had an exceptionally high economic value: US$ 9,442 per ton of chilled meat and US$ 8,680 per ton of frozen meat, prices among the highest in international markets. The total cost of the Argentine meat imported by Israel in July was US$ 45.2 million. The Argentine ambassador to Israel, Axel Wahnish, celebrated the data and stated in the media outlet Iton Gadol that "this is just one example of the enormous commercial potential that we have between Argentina and Israel."
