It is increasingly difficult to find a Polish pork chop. Will there be successors to produce Polish pork?

Those who know the subject remember the so-called pig peaks and troughs. When the price rose because there was a shortage of live pigs on the market, farmers would put the pigs in the pigsty, and when it fell, they would stop fattening. Farms that ran a so-called closed cycle, i.e. from piglet to fattener, were resistant to such situations. When some complained about low prices, others said that nothing was happening. Over time, however, the price troughs became longer and longer. In addition, in February next year, it will be 11 years since the first case of African Swine Fever (ASF) was confirmed in Poland. The virus is of course not dangerous to humans, but deadly dangerous to pigs. Since then, pig farming has become a real challenge.
