According to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Indonesians consume an average of 10.09 eggs per month, with a monthly expenditure of IDR 18,623 per capita. DKI Jakarta has the highest egg consumption at 13.64 eggs per month, with an expenditure of IDR 24,524 per capita. The survey also found that egg consumption is higher in urban areas compared to rural areas, and the richest quintile group consumes more than twice as many eggs as the lowest quintile.
