Italy's sparkling wine exports update in 2023

The runaway train of sparkling wine exports from which we benefited until 2022 consolidated in 2023, with a gradual slowdown driven by volumes (-3% to 5 million hectoliters) and the slowdown of the American (and Russian) market. The result is a limited increase in exported value, +3% to 2.2 billion euros, which still remains a positive sign in the context of total exports falling by approximately 1%.
