ITP Presents Instant Mix for "Causa Limeña" Based on Yellow Potato

On International Potato Day, the Ambo Technical Unit of the Production Technology Institute (ITP) participated in the Yellow Potato Festival 2025, presenting an instant mix for "Causa Limeña", an innovative proposal developed in collaboration with the Peruvian company Inka Golden (Papatoes). This initiative aims to revalue yellow potato through technology use to create products with high added value and commercial potential both nationally and internationally. One of the most outstanding products was the instant mix for "Causa Limeña", designed for those who want to enjoy a delicious appetizer without many complications, offering authentic flavors and quick preparation. The product is made with yellow potato, yellow chili pepper, salt, and powdered lime. By simply adding water, the product will be ready for consumption.
