Spain: Jamón de Trevélez and Jamón de los Pedroches are already protected by the EU-Japan trade agreement

Trevélez Ham and Los Pedroches Ham are part of the list of products protected by the EU-Japan Economic Association Agreement. Following the extension agreed upon and published by the Official Journal of the European Union, from now on, each of the parties protects another 28 geographical indications (GIs) of its commercial partner in its area, and among them 5 Spanish ones have been included: Jamón de TrevélezLos PedrochesPaprika de la VeraOil from Mallorca / Oil from Mallorca / Oli from Mallorca / Oli from MallorcaMontes de ToledoIn addition to the aforementioned Spanish hams, three meat products from Italy have also been included: Prosciutto di Modena, Salamini italiani alla cacciatora and Speck Alto Adige.
