Japan aims to increase its total agricultural, forestry, fishery and food exports from 1.454 trillion yen in 2023 to 5 trillion yen by 2030. To achieve this, the government is focusing on enhancing the appeal of Japanese seafood products and diversifying export markets. Vietnam has been selected as a key partner due to its seafood processing capabilities and large production capacity. The goal is to collaborate with Vietnam to process and export products to various markets.
