Jeju City promotes kiwi facility modernization pilot project in South Korea

Jeju City is promoting a pilot project to modernize kiwifruit facilities to produce high-quality kiwifruit. The city announced that it will accept applications for the 2024 FTA Fund Kiwi High Quality Facility Modernization Pilot Project through six local agricultural cooperatives, including Jeju City Agricultural Cooperative, and Halla Gold Agricultural Cooperative Corporation, until the 18th. The support includes five projects, including automatic switch, ventilation fan facility, blower fan facility, agricultural heater for disaster prevention, and support for renovation of old houses. Those eligible for support are businesses that participate in integrated production and distribution organizations or businesses that have a track record of participating in local food plans.
