Jeju Namwon Agricultural Cooperative (Chairman Ko Il-hak) and the Namwon Branch of the Association of Farmers' Housewives (President Kim Hee-sook) held a sharing event titled "Traditional Soybean Paste, Soy Sauce Making and Garlic Pepper Paste Marinating" last 20th at the main office cafeteria with around 20 members and staff participating. This event is an extension of the Meju Hanging Project implemented in February this year. The volunteers carried out the activity of directly marinating traditional native soybean paste, soy sauce, and garlic pepper paste, which have undergone about 9 months of fermentation process. Additionally, they prepared 100 million won worth of items including the marinated sauces and local agricultural products (shiitake mushrooms, half-dried pollack, rice cakes, etc.) to distribute to 50 local farms within the Jeju Namwon Agricultural Cooperative area.
