The Seogwipo Fisheries Cooperative (President Kim Mi-ja) recently announced that it carried out a Chuseok and Hangawi member return program for members affiliated with the fishing villages under the Seogwipo Fisheries Cooperative (photo). Through the Seogwipo Fisheries Cooperative's Chuseok and Hangawi return program, 884 members received a set of seafood worth 100,000 won each, with the return items including live flatfish, seaweed, anchovies, kelp, and shrimp, among other dried seafood produced by cooperatives nationwide. This resulted in a total of 884 million won, including auxiliary costs, being returned to members through the cooperative's welfare program. These items were delivered through each fishing village.
