Jeonbuk Agricultural Research Institute successfully harvests new rice variety 'Sindongjin1'

The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Agricultural Technology Institute (Director Choi Jun-yeol) has successfully harvested the new rice variety 'Sindongjin 1'. Sindongjin 1 is a new variety introduced 25 years after the development of the representative Jeonbuk rice variety 'Sindongjin', and it has been evaluated as excellent in terms of climate change resilience, rice taste, and quality. After completing variety registration earlier this year, it received high scores in regional adaptation tests and taste evaluations, and is being noted as the next-generation representative rice variety of Jeonbuk.
