South Korea's Jeonnam Province is set to operate a 'visiting stocking reporting center' for its 6,806 fish farms and 15,663 fish, including rockfish, flounder, and abalone. The initiative aims to increase the stocking reporting rate from 49% in the previous year to over 60% this year. The reports are mandatory for fish farms operating inland and sea level farms that raise flounder, eels, shrimp, and abalone. Non-compliance will result in the loss of government support, such as disaster relief funds.
