According to market participants, Jordan's state agency MIT, on an international tender on February 10, as planned, purchased 120,000 tons of food wheat of any origin in two lots of 60,000 tons each from operators Cargill and Buildcom at a price of $264.5/ton C&F. The first of the specified lots is to be delivered to the buyer in the period from May 1 to May 15, the second from May 16 to May 31, 2026. Wheat was also offered at the tender by Ameropa (at a price of $269/ton), Bunge ($272/ton), and CHS ($266.85/ton). Recall that at an international tender in January, the state agency MIT purchased 60,000 tons (of the planned 120,000 tons) of food wheat of any origin from COFCO with delivery to the port of Aqaba from April 16 to April 30, 2026, at a price of $261.25/ton C&F.
