The National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida) executed maintenance and improvement works in the populated centers Palmeiras, Cana Edén, and Fortaleza, as well as in the native communities Tsiriari and Boca del Kiatari, located in the province of Satipo (Junín). These actions directly benefit 1312 families of alternative development. The works included roof and sheet metal renewal, installation of rainwater gutters, ceilings, plastering and painting of walls, replacement of doors and windows, as well as improvements to electrical and sanitary systems. The works guarantee safe and suitable environments for assemblies, training, and organizational strengthening activities. The five interventions directly benefit 1312 families, including the Asháninka and Nomatsiguenga population of the native communities Tsiriari (Mazamari) and Boca del Kiatari (Pangoa).
