A total of 4,302 sheep were dosed in the peasant community of Casablanca, Pomacancha district, Jauja province, Junín region. The activity was carried out as part of the animal health actions promoted to strengthen livestock production in the central highlands.
This technical work, led by the Jauja Agrarian Agency of the Regional Directorate of Agriculture of Junín, allowed for the care of flocks belonging to small producers, contributing to improving the health of the animals and preventing parasitic diseases that affect livestock profitability.
With these actions, sustainable management of sheep is promoted and agro-livestock development is boosted in the high Andean areas of Jauja, strengthening the productive capacities of the peasant communities.
