The Thai Department of Internal Trade is closely monitoring the prices of agricultural products under the guidance of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, Jurin Laksanawisit. The report for the 5th week of March 2021 shows an increase in prices for several agricultural products, which is beneficial for farmers, except for chicken eggs due to increased production costs and a decrease in exports. To address these issues, the Deputy Prime Minister has urged the Department of Internal Trade to collaborate with relevant parties to find solutions. Additionally, a new initiative will see the linking of provincial commerce with the Office of Foreign Trade Promotion to find markets for provincial products.
