Kazakhstan is projected to have a substantial grain harvest due to favorable weather conditions, quality seeds, and mineral fertilizers, according to the Ministry of Agriculture. The country anticipates exporting between 7.5 to 7 million tons of wheat, 1.4 to 1.3 million tons of barley, 300 thousand tons of corn, and 1 million tons of oil crops. Major export markets include Central Asia and Afghanistan, with a significant increase in grain exports to China, reaching 1.431 million tons in 2023, a 5.5 times increase from the previous year, especially with a notable 15 times increase in wheat exports to 538.8 thousand tons.
