Kazakhstan has seen a 53% increase in grain exports in the September-February 2024/2025 period, with the majority of the exports going to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan. The country transported 7.4 million tons of grain, with 5.8 million tons exported and 2.2 million tons going to Uzbekistan alone. Flour shipments also increased, with a total of 466 thousand tons transported in January-February 2025, including 314 thousand tons exported. Overall, Kazakhstan transported 10.6 million tons of grain and 3.2 million tons of flour by the end of 2024.
