State support is bolstering the fish farming industry through the provision of reservoirs and feed subsidies. Marlen Tursynali, a veteran in fish farming, plans to expand his trout farm for both domestic and export markets. The government aims to boost fish production to 270,000 tons annually by 2030, facilitated by amendments to the Law 'On Aquaculture'. Additionally, the trout farm's 'Balyk-mektep' training project has educated 500 individuals since 2020, many of whom have started their own fish farms. Despite these advancements, the industry still faces challenges such as the lack of examination laboratories, special medicines, and high-quality fish feed production.
