Kazakhstan: for 10 months of the current year, the production of food products amounted to 3.1 trillion tenge

Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparbayev announced data on food production at today's Government meeting. He noted that food production is showing steady growth. Investments in fixed capital in this production have increased by 60% and amounted to 225 billion tenge. This is reported by the portal Agrosektor.kz. According to the head of the Ministry of Agriculture, over the 10 months of this year, food production totaled 3.1 trillion tenge, which is 9.1% higher than the level of the same period last year. The plan for the end of the year is 9.3%. A significant part of the growth is provided by the milling and oil and fat industries. Flour production over the specified period reached 2.8 million tons, which is 7% higher than the level of the same period last year, vegetable oil by 21.7% and amounted to 726 thousand tons, milk by 4.7%, reaching 550 thousand tons, cereal products by 10%, and the production of sausage products by 7.8%.
