Kazakhstan has seen a significant increase in its grain harvest, threshing a record 26.5 million tons this year, up from 17.1 million tons last year. This includes 12 million tons of grain and 1 million tons of oil crops, marking a increase from last year's harvest. The favorable weather conditions, high-quality seeds, and mineral fertilizers used have contributed to this high yield. The country plans to export 7-7.5 million tons of wheat, 1.3-1.4 million tons of barley, 300 thousand tons of corn, and 1 million tons of oil crops. Central Asian and Afghan countries will receive about 4.2 million tons of grain. There has also been a substantial increase in grain exports to China, with wheat exports to the country increasing by 15 times. The government has provided record funding of 580 billion tenge or $1.2 billion to support the industry.
