Saulan Baiyev stated, "The primary goal of the agricultural complex is to sell products in a timely manner, making storage space available for the new harvest. In the 2024-2025 marketing year, the total grain transport volume reached 13.3 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 45%. Of this, 10.3 million tons were for export, and 3 million tons were for the domestic market. The main export directions are all showing a positive trend. Notably, despite a decrease in grain exports to China, feed flour exports reached 2 million tons, a 4.6-fold increase. This is due to the efforts of processing enterprises in producing high value-added products."
It is reported that this year, Kazakhstan is expected to harvest 24 million tons of grain.
At the meeting, the Prime Minister instructed the relevant departments to efficiently organize the transportation of grain from the fields to the destination, ensuring smooth logistics.
