In the first ten months of the year, oil production in Kazakhstan increased by 10.2%, with significant growth in soybean, rapeseed, and sunflower oil, but a decline in cottonseed oil production. Sunflower oil exports increased by 1.5-fold, with the main buyers being Uzbekistan and China. Meanwhile, imports of sunflower oil and palm oil also saw fluctuations, with most of the imports coming from Russia, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
