Kazakhstan has seen a significant increase in crude sunflower oil production, with a 34% rise compared to the first quarter of 2023 and an 87% increase compared to the same period in 2022, totaling 136.59 thsd tonnes. The first quarter also marked a 16-month high for overall production, reaching 47.3 thsd tonnes in March. Additionally, refined sunflower oil production increased by 22% year-on-year to 33.5 thsd tonnes, with SKO and Shymkent being the largest contributors.
