Kazakhstan's rapeseed harvest in 2023 saw a significant decrease of 34% from the previous year, yielding only 123.2 thousand tons compared to 188.6 thousand tons in 2022. The harvested area also shrank to 92.6 thousand hectares. Despite this decline, the domestic market demand for rapeseed remains high, with the country's processing capacity exceeding 1 million tons of rapeseed annually.
