In Geneva, the Global Conference of the World Organization for Animal Health on the reduction of biological threats took place. Kazakhstan was represented by a delegation from the Committee of Veterinary Control and Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event, timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Convention on the Prohibition of Biological Weapons and the 100th anniversary of the Geneva Protocol, became an important international platform for discussing global challenges related to biological threats and gathered more than 400 participants from around the world.
