The Turkestan region in Kazakhstan is planning to launch 19 new agricultural projects by 2025, investing nearly 89 billion tenge (approximately 204.7 million USD). These projects aim to boost agricultural processing and creation of job opportunities, with an expected employment for over 1,300 people. The initiatives include a corn deep processing plant, sunflower and cottonseed oil production facilities, a starch plant, cotton fiber and processing plants, and a cotton seed production enterprise. The total estimated job creation from these projects is 1,270.
