In October 2024, Kazakhstan achieved a record production of 302 thousand tons of wheat and wheat-rye flour, the highest in 10 months and over the past 22 months, as reported by APK-Inform. The Kostanay region was the primary contributor, producing 108.96 thousand tons. The total production for the first 10 months of 2024 reached nearly 2.49 million tons, barely missing the production figure from the previous year.
