Kazakhstan has imposed a temporary ban on the import of apples by land from third countries, including Poland, until the end of the year. The decision was made to prioritize the local apple harvest, which is forecasted to reach 300 thousand tons. The country will also introduce export duties on certain agricultural products and extend the ban on the export of gasoline, diesel fuel, and some oil products. This could significantly impact Poland, as Kazakhstan is a major sales market for Polish apples.
