During a visit by the Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan, Bakhyt Sultanov, to Kyrgyzstan, an agreement was reached for the supply of early vegetables from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan for $1 million, with carrots and cabbage included. A contract for the supply of instant noodles was also signed, along with a license agreement for the adoption of national standards between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The progress of a border industrial trade and logistics complex was discussed, with expectations to double the export of fruit and vegetable products from Kyrgyzstan. The trade turnover between the two countries in the first ten months of 2021 increased by 13% compared to the previous year, reaching $795.1 million.
