The minister introduced that in terms of agricultural exports, the monetary value of exports increased by 51%. Specifically, wheat exports increased by 56%, sunflower oil by 76%, feed by 152%, barley by 94%, and flaxseed by 60%.
Shakaliyev pointed out that the overseas demand for Kazakhstan's agricultural products mainly comes from the CIS countries, China, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asian countries. Around these market directions, Kazakhstan is gradually improving its foreign trade and logistics infrastructure, including setting up national trade pavilions, offices, and representative offices in major partner countries.
To further expand export directions, Kazakhstan has already signed free trade agreements with the Eurasian Economic Union, the UAE, and Mongolia this year, and plans to engage in similar negotiations and cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union and Indonesia.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, Shakalayev also discussed issues related to beef prices and supply.
